The Fine Print
Take a walk through the history of brewing in Cleveland (literally!) by exploring the storied buildings of GLBC's brewing campus.
Immerse yourself in Cleveland brewing lore while learning about the 19th century taverns that now comprise our brewpub, the majestic Schlather Brewing Co. facility that houses our production brewery, and more. Tours last approximately 60 minutes and include four 5 oz. beer samples and a souvenir pint glass to take home!
Choose your tour date and time carefully! Payment is non-refundable, and event date and time is non-transferable. Our tours start promptly at their scheduled time; no exceptions. Guests arriving late are not guaranteed a chance to join their tour. Please allow time to find parking and arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tour start time.
Please be aware that buying out all of the tickets for a public brewery tour does not guarantee it will be a private event for you and your guests. A limited amount of walk-up tickets are available on a first come, first served basis at the start of every public tour day. Please visit the Beer Symposium to inquire about any open availability. If you are interested in a private tour, please contact us directly at 216.325.7846 for additional details.
Don't forget your ID! Guests must be 21 or older with a valid ID to consume or purchase alcohol. Guests without a valid ID at check-in will not receive beer samples. Four (4) 5 oz. beer samples are given per valid ID; no exceptions. Guests under 21 are welcome on the tour, but must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21. No guest under 21 will be permitted to consume alcohol; no exceptions. When purchasing tickets, please select the Under 21/Non-Drinking ticket option for anyone under 21. Children under the age of 5 do not need to purchase a ticket.
Visitors planning to visit the brewery MUST wear closed-toe shoes (i.e. boots or sneakers; no flip flops or sandals.) This is for your personal safety and the safety of our guests.
Our brewery is housed in a 19th century building with narrow spaces and multiple stairwells. Be aware that breweries are hot and loud, especially in packaging areas and during the summer months. This tour will involve some time outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
Looking to visit the brewpub before or after your tour? Please see the host stand before your tour for seating policies, or make a reservation by visiting us online at https://www.greatlakesbrewing.com/brewpub. Tour attendance does not guarantee reservations in our brewpub.
