When Pub Brewer Steve found out that the grandmother of co-owners Dan and Pat Conway would chew on seaweed in Ireland, inspiration had struck. With the help of a Conway cousin still living in Ireland, Forman was shipped a package of Palmaria palmata, a type of red seaweed found along the northern coastlines of the Atlantic. Commonly known as "dillisk," this edible and flavorful alga adds a hint of salt to the dry, lightly roasted flavors of this Irish Stout. Served on nitro!
