Find yourself one full chicken.
Open up the chicken and pat it dry with a paper towel.
Spray the chicken all over with olive oil spray.
Season the chicken with your favorite combination of spices (try out Weber’s Beer Can Chicken Seasoning)!
Crack open your Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold can, and using a can opener, remove the top portion. Pour out 1/4 of the can, for enjoyment purposes!
Place the chicken directly on top of the open beer can.
Preheat your grill or smoker for indirect heat at 350-375 degrees.
Cook or smoke the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Carve, serve, and enjoy!
